The Fox Township Sewer Authority has announced that, effective April 1, 2008, monthly service fee rates for public sewer customers will increase. The residential rate will be increased from the current monthly rate of $40 to $41 per month. The non-residential rate will be increased from the current monthly rate of $50 per EDU to $52 per EDU. In January 2005, the Authority implemented a new fee schedule that allowed for a rate discount to those households that used less than 3000 gallons of water per quarter (based on the records of the St. Marys Water Authority). Likewise, those who use over 2 EDUs per quarter, are surcharged an additional $10 per EDU. At the beginning of each quarter, water usage is evaluated and each customer's bill is adjusted accordingly for the next three months. Water usage is then re-evaluated each quarter. These adjusted fees will not change.
