Keep Township Roads Beautiful...
Adopt-A-Roadway

A recycling drop-off center is     located at the Municipal Building and is available to residents 24 hours a day,  seven days a week.  These bins are located on your immediate left as you enter the Municipal Building parking lot.  Each bin is labeled for plastic, paper, aluminum OR glass.  Please place your recyclables in the appropriate container.  DO NOT leave your items lay on the ground next to the containers!  These containers are not meant for household garbage.

In order to rid the township roads of litter and to improve the environment, Fox Township designed an Adopt-A-Roadway program, structured in the fashion of PennDOT's Adopt-A-Highway program.  Through this program, volunteer groups may "adopt" a township road or portion thereof, in order to pick up litter.  Groups must adopt a minimum of two miles of township road , unless the road selected is less than two miles in length.  In which case, the entire length must be adopted.    Signs acknowledging the "adoption" of the road  will  be  provided by the Township and placed in each direction of travel. Each group  must also agree to clean the adopted road at least twice a year.  Trash bags, safety vests and signs are provided by the Township.  Township crews will also collected the bagged trash.  For a complete information packet on this program, contact the Township office at (814) 885-8450 ext. 4
